Dr. Meaghan welcomes Dr. Tim Spector to the show today. Dr. Tim Spector talks about his latest book SPOON-FED:  Why Almost Everything We Have Been Told About Food is Wrong. Dr. Tim is an expert in gut health, and one of the world's leading researchers.  He is a multi-award-winning expert in personalized medicine, food policy, and the gut microbiome. In this podcast, he debunks some of the biggest food myths we have been led to believe and disputes the "one size fits all" theory of nutrition.

Dr. Spector also talks about his health science company that is running the largest in-depth personalized nutrition study called ZOE.  You can find out more about that company by going to joinzoe.com.

In this episode we talk about:
  • The myths that the food industry feeds us
  • How much of the research surrounding food and nutrition is flawed
  • How we should eat for our microbiome
  • How personalized food choices and lifestyle choices should go into our daily choices of what foods are best for us.
Thanks, Dr. Tim Spector for coming on the show, and thanks to everyone for listening.

Remember to be kind to others, take care of yourself and make good choices.
